We’re looking to add an experienced Database Administrator to our team. This position is responsible for serving as the administrator for ELC’s Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) and other local, and state databases and portals; provide data elements and technical support to ELC staff and board. This position reports to the Chief Compliance Officer.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business systems, Information Technology, Programming, Public Administration, or related field, preferred  
  • Three (3) years’ experience in system integration, business programming, technical support, or database management, required
  • Associate degree and a combination of 5 years of related work experience, required

What You Will Do (Summary):

  • Serve as the lead administrator of ELC’s Integrated Data Management System (IDMS)
  • Create and/or coordinate the use of IDMS modules, templates, etc.
  • Respond to and provide technical assistance and support to ELC staff for incoming issues related to IDMS and other state database systems (i.e., Tableau)
  • Serve as agency liaison with IDMS vendor (attend meetings and implement updates)
  • Analyze data to identify trends or relationships among variables and report results
  • Design and develop training materials for ELC IDMS, State Database, and other program data systems
  • Facilitate, conduct, and lead training for key ELC staff and super users
  • Troubleshoot database issues with key internal units and departments
  • Develop procedures for creating forms, applications, modules, and other templates utilized within the IDMS
  • Responsible for the design, creation, testing, and documenting of new and amended SharePoint applications
  • Maintain, assign, and terminate all programmatic system logins for new and/or existing ELC staff as appropriate
  • Monitor and assure data quality in all agency systems by conducting regular audits
  • Create workflows and implement administrative, programmatic, and management procedures to include internal controls
  • Maintain required communications between agency systems to ensure accuracy and functionality
  • Run, analyze, export, and prepare data reports for leadership, Board of Directors meetings and public records data requests
  • Prepare activity reports and dashboards for agency management and staff
  • Track and log all help desk interactions with IDMS and State database

Position: Full-time

Salary Range: $50,000 -$53,000

Benefits: This is a full-time position that includes the following benefits: health insurance, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, retirement savings plan and loan forgiveness eligible employer, etc.
