Compliance Analyst

We’re looking to add a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to our team. This position is responsible for conducting internal monitoring and reviews for quality assurance and facilitating operational reviews, including the management of policies and procedural updates and changes for all ELC departments. This position reports to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).

You Have:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant work experience, preferred or;
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant work experience in program administration required
  • You are knowledgeable of state and federal regulations, preferred
  • You have prior experience in financial analysis, financial accounting, or auditing, either external or internal a plus
  • You have experience managing internal operational reviews

  • You have the ability to follow instructions and comply with and support the organization’s policies and procedures
  • You must exhibit a positive attitude and be an example to others in problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal relationships, and commitment to the organization’s mission and vision

What You Will Do (Summary):

  • Develop annual operational review schedule, including risk analysis and communication with organization management and/or other key staff
  • Assist CCO with management   of operational reviews from initiation through corrective action plan phase to include follow up measures
  • Develop performance measurement tools as needed, with guidance of CCO
  • In collaboration with CCO, monitor statewide policy development and actively participate in coalition workgroups and provide updates to ELC
  • Manage the development of policies and procedures for all departments and units, including prioritizing and reviewing drafts, utilizing change management process
  • Assist with the development and preparation of State required plans and other ELC plans, using industry data and other factors
  • Review, develop create and amend internal policies and procedures relating to ELC administered initiatives, trains appropriate staff in the interpretation and application of same
  • Maintains working knowledge of the state management information systems and provides technical assistance as needed
  • Manage development of training programs as needed, including identification of needs
  • Assists CCO with document and record retention requirements
  • Assist with analysis of information and preparation of reports and documentation prepared for Board and Committee meetings
  • Review utilization plan information and present when necessary
  • Participate in at least two ELC outreach activities and/or events per fiscal year

Position: Full-time, Non-exempt Position of Special Trust.

Salary Range: $40,000 -$50,000.

Benefits: This is a full-time position that includes the following benefits: health insurance, dental, vision, flexible paid time off and holidays, life insurance, short-term and long-term, retirement savings plan (401K) and loan forgiveness eligible employer, etc. Considered for hybrid work after successful completion of probationary period.
