Provider Representative Information
The ELC has a diverse Board of Directors which includes both public and private members. Stacey Duggar is a local child care provider and provider representative on the board. As a member of our board, her primary duty is to be the voice of providers in our area. While you are always welcome to contact the ELC directly, your board representatives are an additional resource to ask questions and share information with.
Stacey Duggar
Stacey Duggar has rejoined the Board of Directors as the Representative of Faith-Based Child Care Providers having previously served in this position from 2015-2019. Stacey is also on the Board for the Christian Preschool Association (formerly known as the United Methodist Association of Preschools). She holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Florida State University.
Stacey began her career early childhood at a very early age! Her parents owned and operated a childcare center in Lauderdale Lakes, FL and she worked alongside them throughout her high school years and when on break from college. After graduating from FSU, she worked as the Program Coordinator for the Seminole County YMCA and then as the Director of Recreation at South Seas Resort on Captiva Island, where she coordinated all of the children’s activities. Eventually, she wound up back in Tallahassee where she began working at Trinity United Methodist Church Preschool as a two and three-year-old teacher before accepting the position of Preschool Director there in 2004.
Every job she has held has involved working with children and she has dedicated her professional life on the betterment of early education and care.
