Procurement Purpose
Obtain quotes from qualified Proposers for Not-For-Profit Organization Management Liability Insurance. The policy term will begin on 02/01/24 and end on 01/31/25.
Organization Information
ELC operates as a not-for-profit corporation and was incorporated initially as the Leon School Readiness Coalition in 2001 as required by the School Readiness Act of 1999 (F.S. 411.01). In response to legislative requirements, ELC has undergone several transitions, mergers, and name changes and expanded its service area in 2005 to encompass the seven counties it serves today (Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla Counties).
Headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, ELC currently has 48 employees. A contracted partner with the Florida Department of Education’s (DOE) Division of Early Learning (DEL), ELC is responsible for the administration of the School Readiness (S.R.) and Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) programs.
How to Submit Your Qualifications and Quotes:
ELC developed an electronic form to facilitate the RFQQ process to collect each Proposer’s insurance broker qualifications and application forms.
To review/complete this form, click the link below and submit it by 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 01/03/24.
To qualify as a responsive Proposer, you must complete ELC’s qualifications form and upload current copies of the following documents:
- Active State of Florida license as an Insurance Broker and five years of experience offering Not-For-Profit Organization Management Liability Insurance.
- Broker’s Insurance Application Form that ELC needs to complete for you to obtain quotes from qualified insurance companies.
- Any additional certifications related to your qualifications to offer quotes and policies for Not-For-Profit Organization Management Liability Insurance.
- All required business documentation.
ELC will select the insurance policy submitted by a responsive Proposer that best meets our organization’s needs based on price and quality.
