ELC 4717: Brain Breaks for Young Children – Supporting Good Health and Learning

Brain breaks are a great classroom management tool to use regularly. Brain breaks are short, 1 to 2 minutes, activities that can give young children a break from classroom activities. Brain breaks give young children a chance to regroup, relax, stretch, and allow the teacher to pull all the children together. Brain breaks can even happen in the middle of circle time.
