Data Integration Coordinator

We are in the business of children! We’re looking to add a talented Data Integration Coordinator to our team. This position is responsible for coordinating the organization’s Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) and other local and state databases and portals. This position ensures system functionality and data accuracy while providing technical support and data elements to internal stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s or associate degree and two (2) years experience in Business Systems, Information Technology, Programming or related field required
- Demonstrative understanding of child care programs, early childhood education, social service issues, community action programs, and serving low-income communities required based on experience, preferred

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with demonstrated proficiency in data analysis
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, follow through, and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of rules, regulations, and ELC policies and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work independently

What You Will Do (Summary):
- Serve as primary point of contact for Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) and other database platforms
- Develop and coordinate workflows for IDMS modules, templates, and related tools, including procedures for creating forms, applications, and other system components with a focus on internal controls
- Maintain communication between agency systems to ensure accuracy and functionality, while serving as the liaison with IDMS and other vendors to attend meetings and implement updates
- Respond to/implement and provide technical assistance and support to staff for incoming issues related to IDMS and other state database systems (i.e., Tableau, Portals)
- Generate, examine, and export data reports for leadership, Board of Directors meetings, and public records requests
- Review data to identify trends or relationships among variables and report results
- Track and log all help desk interactions with IDMS and State database
- Create, develop, and deliver training materials for ELC IDMS, State Database, and other program data systems to staff
- Troubleshoot database issues with key internal units and departments
- Monitor and assure data quality in all agency systems by conducting regular audits
- Maintain required communications between agency systems to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Prepare activity reports and dashboards for agency management and staff
- Assign and/or terminate employee access to IDMS and other state database systems
- Maintain up-to-date listing of all employee access to various database and state platforms
- Participate in a minimum of two ELC Outreach activities and/or events within the fiscal year
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate use of all resources by immediately reporting suspected fraud (Internal and/or external) via ELC-established Fraud Reporting Procedure
- Participate as directed in all ELC quality improvement efforts to achieve optimum organizational performance
- Contact the Abuse Hotline immediately in the event an allegation of abuse, neglect, or exploitation is received and notify a manager immediately
- Perform other job duties as assigned

Position: Full-time
Salary: Starting salary $46,000/annually
