{"id":1398,"date":"2022-08-02T22:25:52","date_gmt":"2022-08-03T02:25:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elcbigbend.org\/?p=1398"},"modified":"2022-08-02T22:25:54","modified_gmt":"2022-08-03T02:25:54","slug":"staff-retreat-call-for-speakers-and-presenters-9-30-22-and-10-03-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elcbigbend.org\/es\/staff-retreat-call-for-speakers-and-presenters-9-30-22-and-10-03-22\/","title":{"rendered":"Staff Retreat Call for Speakers and Presenters (9\/30\/22 and 10\/03\/22)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend Region, Inc (ELC) is hosting a Staff Retreat, entitled, \u201c<strong><em>Strength in Unity: We\u2019re Better Together\u201d <\/em><\/strong>scheduled for <strong>Friday, September 30 (8:15 a.m. \u2013 12:15 p.m.) and Monday, October 3 (8:30 a.m. \u2013 5:30 p.m.)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ELC is seeking engaging presenters\/trainers for the following topic areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Motivational Talk \u2013 1 Hour <u>and<\/u> Retreat Facilitator \u2013 1.5 Days<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Topic: Resilience (Bouncing Back\/Change\/Balance)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goal:<\/strong> Motivate ELC staff and provide tips and tangible take-a-ways they can put to immediate use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This presenter will also serve as the Retreat Facilitator and must be available on September 30 (8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and October 3 (8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Self-Care Strategies \u2013 1 Hour Each, 2 Sessions<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goal:<\/strong> Identify and improve physical well-being, engagement, health, and overall satisfaction with specific self-care methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Each one-hour session will cover a different Self-Care Strategy topic.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ELC will select different presenters for each Self-Care Strategy presentation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Strengths Finder \u2013 4 hours, 1 session<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goal:<\/strong> Help ELC team members discover and understand their individual Top 5 CliftonStrengths;
