VPK sites must administer the FAST Star Early Literacy Program to all students participating in VPK programs, both school year and summer. The assessment is administered at the beginning, middle, and end of the VPK school year. The first Progress Monitoring (PM1) must be completed within the first 30 days of VPK attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>VPK FAST Training for Test Administrators<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each VPK program must have a qualified test administrator PRIOR to administering the assessment to students. To qualify as a test administrator, an individual must be employed by a private VPK Provider or a school district. The administrator must also document the completion of required training before administering the FAST assessment. All training requirements must be submitted to ELC via the Early Learning Provider Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Required Annual Training:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete the course: VPK FAST Star Early Literacy Test Administrator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test Administration and Security Agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test Administrator Prohibited Activities Agreement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All VPK test administrator training can be found in the new Renaissance platform, Educator Academy. For step-by-step instructions on creating an account, please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/renaissance.widen.net\/s\/mvgfnsjqp6\/vpk_educator-academy-enrollment-guidance_final\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Renaissance Educator Academy Enrollment Guidance<\/a>&nbsp;guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/vpkflorida.northpass.com\/auth\/auth_url_email\/login\"><strong>Visit Educator Academy<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Division of Early Learning highly recommends that VPK Program administrators, teachers, staff, and test administrators complete these courses to support better implementation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>VPK FAST Star Early Literacy Screening Data and Reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VPK FAST Start Early Literacy Planning Targeted Instruction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Administration Schedule<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Progress Monitoring windows are calculated based on the instructional dates on the certified VPK calendar.
