DESCRIPTION:March 1 – March 30\, 2023\n20 Hours In-Service\, or 2 CEUs\nVPK – PreK Teachers \n\nLetters\, words\, and expressions are the thoughts of the Word Collector!  This course is based on the story The Word Collector about a boy who LOVES words. He loves words so much that he collects them on yellow slips of paper. He pastes them into a scrapbook as he goes throughout his day. You will learn more about teaching reading readiness and find a library of activities to scaffold alphabetic knowledge and emergent writing in this course.  The ELC will provide you with die cuts upon request to build activities.
